Elected to the Fillmore City Council in November 2020, Christina Villaseñor is the granddaughter of agricultural workers and a third-generation resident of the Santa Clara Valley. Director Villaseñor was appointed to the Fillmore and Piru Basins GSA Board of Directors by the Fillmore City Council in January 2021. Currently a stay-at-home parent to her young daughter, Director Villaseñor earned a master’s degree in Public Health from UCLA and worked as a Health Policy Analyst for the LA County Department of Public Health for 11 years. As the Ventura County Board Chair of CAUSE Action Fund, Director Villaseñor is passionate about mobilizing and creating leadership opportunities for immigrants, working class and youth in our communities.
